HCL Unveils Desktop Series with AMD Phenom X3 8000

HCL Infosystems has unveiled its Infiniti Orbital K Series range of desktops based on Triple Core AMD Phenom X3 8000 processor. As per a company communiqu , the series will provide gamers and digital media enthusiasts with exceptional performance at mainstream price points. Integrating three computational cores on a single die of silicon, AMD Phenom Triple-Core processor improves application performance.
George Paul, executive VP, HCL Infosystems, said, "This launch carries forward our legacy of offering our customers products based on latest technologies. Backed by our industry-leading service and support network, we are confident that the new range of desktops will be an asset delivering significant enhancements in gaming and high-definition experiences for our consumers."
Launched at a price on Rs. 33,000 onwards, the series will be available through HCL's wide distribution network including HCL Digilife stores across India. This model is positioned for advanced multitasking and critical business productivity, claims the company.
Gautam Mukherjee, general manager, OEM Sales, AMD India, said, "HCL is the first company in India to introduce computers based on the AMD Phenom processors (Quad Core & Triple Core) and AMD 780G chipsets. HCL's computers based on AMDs Phenom processors will a wide variety of demanding applications."
