Hewlett Packard (HP) has expanded its portfolio of enterprise imaging and printing devices with the launch of HP Color Laserjet CM6040. Designed for maximum color performance, the new printer is likely to help organizations optimize their infrastructure and improve workflows. The printer can print up to 40 pages-per-minute (ppm) for both color and black-and-white, claims the company.
As per a company communique, the feature-rich printer incorporates A3 printing, advanced finishing options, robust security and the HP Easy Select Control Panel. Supporting enterprises by streamlining their paper-intensive processes, the printer makes it easy for users who want to share color printing across larger workgroups of up to 20 users. The ImageREt technology of up to 4800 dpi consistently facilitates professional printing results through 600 x 600 dpi (default) and up to 1200 x 600 dpi operating mode.
"Companies looking for affordable ways to bring color production into the office will find the new printer helpful. It provides options for SMBs seeking innovative and reliable multi-function devices that deliver high quality prints, scans and copies at an affordable price," said Samir Shah, Director (Commercial & Enterprise Printing, Imaging and Printing Group), Hewlett-Packard India.
