HP Unveils New Touchsmart Series in India

Hewlett-Packard India announced that it has unveiled a new range of touch-enabled Photosmart printers -- better known as the HP Touchsmart series.
The new line-up of HP Photosmart touch-enabled printers have been designed exclusively for urban trend-setters including children, youth, and professionals working out of home.
The printer range includes HP Photosmart Premium C309G All-in-One, HP Photosmart Plus B209A All-in-One, HP Photosmart C4688 All-in-one and HP Photosmart C4788 All-in-One printers.
Christoph Schell, vice president, Consumer Go To Market and Inkjet and Web Solutions Imaging & Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific & Japan, said, "Since HP introduced its first consumer touchscreen printer in 2006, our R&D teams have drawn from extensive consumer insights, and leading-edge touchscreen technologies to develop the new Touchsmart user interface that is simple and easy to use."
Ravi Aggarwal, president, Imaging and Printing Group, HP India, added that touch technology will play an important role in making printing truly an experience for consumers.
