As part of its RCS, HP has expanded its support of Citrix XenDesktop with its new HP Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and blade PC solutions.
"This association with Citrix is the latest example of HP's building momentum in the client virtualization market. We're offering businesses a one-stop-shop to meet their virtualization needs with the most comprehensive portfolio of virtual client solutions," said Rajat Mehta, Country Manager (Remote Client Solutions - Personal Systems Group), HP India.
HP's remote client solutions portfolio of desktop virtualization offerings includes thin client lineup, blade PCs and workstations and HP Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The solutions help business customers reduce security risks and support costs by centralizing computing hardware and sensitive data within the data center.

"Desktop virtualization is a rapidly expanding new market with tremendous upside potential. Working closely with HP, Citrix is redefining the desktop virtualization market with a groundbreaking new solution that dynamically assembles each user's unique personal desktop from new, pristine components each time they log on - ensuring that performance never degrades," said Souma Das, Area Vice President, Citrix India Subcontinent.
