Haier Unveils New GSM Phones

Haier Mobile has announced the launch of three new GSM phones: Wow, Twinn and Double. As per a company communique, these phones will offer customers with choice in areas that have practically not existed earlier.
The Wow model is a color phone, which features FM and voice recording. The stereo FM offers good sound clarity, while the phone book memory can handle 500 contacts, claims the company. Besides, a person can store three numbers for each contact effectively making a storage capacity of 500 x 3.
The other model, Twinn, is a slider phone and features active double GSM SIM. The phone comes in a novel faux leather box packing. The phone book storage of 500 x 6 makes it extremely useful, and MP3 / MP4 allows music on the move. The phone features 1.3mp camera.
Finally, the Double phone model comes with dual GSM card in which both SIM cards can remain active simultaneously. The phone offers Bluetooth, FM on speaker, MP3 player, camera, video recording, T Flash Card upto 1 GB, MMS, GPRS and WAP. The user can store as much as six numbers for each contact effectively making a storage capacity of 1000 x 6.
Commenting on the launch, Avijit Dutt, director (Marcom), Haier Mobile, said, "Haier Mobile intends to introduce at least three new IDs every quarter. The dedicated design center based in India allows us to feel the apulse of the market, and rapidly convert into great phones."
