Bangalore-based Inflow Technologies, a distributor for storage, security and networking products, recently singed a strategic agreement with Novell, a software provider, to distribute full line of products throughout India and Sri Lanka.
This agreement will cover all Novel SuSE Linux, identity and security management systems, resource management and workgroup products for SMEs and corporate.
Elaborating on the new alliance, R Rajesh Kumar, business head, Inflow Technologies, said, "Under the new agreement, we will distribute exclusive Novell Plate Spin's product, called 'Forge', and other end-to-end Novell products, along with Redington in India. Through this tie up, we will be able to offer our channel partners an opportunity to address a new market segment. Currently, we are providing technical training to our 30 storage partners for Forge products, which include hi-end storage solutions like consolidation, datacenter and virtualization. Already our pre- and post-sale teams have completed first level of sales training. We are now enabling our partners for the same."
Among other benefits, Inflow will offer enhanced partner education, joint marketing opportunities, and free technical support for those partners demonstrating expertise in selling and supporting Novell software.
Overall Inflow Technologies has 10 branch offices in India and 220 plus channel partners. It has technology alliance with 24 companies including Aladdin, Allied Telesyn, Aruba, Checkpoint, Netapp, Quantum and Packeteer etc.
