Inspan Brings Mercury Espial Range to India

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, May 25, 2009 1501 hrs IST

Inspan Infotech, an IT distribution company for motherboards, cabinets and PC components, has forayed in the surveillance security products business by bringing Mercury Espial range to India. These stand-alone Mercury Espial range of surveillance security products ensure complete security at homes and work places, the distributor said.

The Mercury Espial range of surveillance security products come as a kit that includes Mercury DVR (Digital Video Recorder), a remote and a set of 4 or 8 or 16 cameras. The remote and the cameras are optional in the kit. Users have an option of going in for Sony cameras in a set of 4 or 8 or 16 nos. The DVR comes as a 4 / 8 / 16 channel system. The number of channels is the number of maximum cameras that can be set up with the DVR. The set up and installation will be taken care of by the dealer and comes at a very nominal charge.

The range also features True Triplex functionality that works simultaneously (playback, record, & network) and supports interface of PS/2 Mouse for 4ch/8ch or USB Mouse for 16ch. The range also has a feature that supports 60fps for 4ch/8ch & 120fps for 4ch/8ch/16ch on recording and individual record frame and individual video color adjustments for each channel.

"We are excited about Mercury Espial range as the latest addition in our portfolio. This product is a great value-for-money for the users and an ideal fit for the fast growing home and SMB segments. We will ensure that the channel partners continue to get more options that will allow them to sell multiple products to one customer and also increase the profitability," said Sudhir S, Managing Director, Inspan Infotech.
