By

Mumbai, Feb 28, 2008
Kingston Technology announced that its HyperX low-latency 1625 MHz DDR3 memory has been certified under the Intel Extreme Memory Profile (Intel XMP) validation program.
When paired with select Intel X38 series-based motherboards, Kingston low-latency HyperX modules (designated with an 'X' at the end of the part number) increase overall system performance.
The XMP profile allows for easy overclocking by selection of the predefined profile in the BIOS while expert overclockers can still manually adjust frequency and timings of Kingston HyperX XMP modules.
"Gamers and PC enthusiasts building high-performance PC now have a variety of memory options when choosing certified Intel XMP memory modules for their rig," said Nitin Malhotra, country manager of Kingston Technology, India.
The pricing for the 2-GB, low-latency KHX13000D3LLK2/2GX and the KHX11000D3LLK2/2GX HyperX XMP module is Rs.33,255 and Rs.33,155, respectively.
Kingston HyperX is backed by a lifetime warranty and free technical support. Kingston products are distributed in India by Avnet India, HCL, Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics and Transtek Infoways.
Will certification ensure good sales for the memory?
