Intex Launches GPRS-enabled Cellphone

Intex Technologies has launched an entry-level multitasking mobile handset, which provides various utility and entertainment features.
The handset is GPRS facility enabled. It allows surfing the web on a 65 K color display screen with 128 X 128 resolution. One can store 800 contacts in the phone and 500 messages in the inbox.
The phone allows blocking of 5 unwanted callers, it saves payment to the service providers for call barring. Also it has a built-in one touch torch light option.
Music-lovers, with this handset, can now enjoy features like- FM radio, FM recorder to record and save favourite songs from radio and audio player. Its sound recorder can hold up to 2MB of data.
The handset is priced at Rs.2,000.
