Hard-core gamers had a hands-on experience of Intex Technologies' powerhouse machines featuring Intel's Core 2 Quad processor at the gaming event, Dog Fights Gaming Nights, organized by The History Channel recently in New Delhi.
The 4-hours long event saw a large audience playing the very best electronic arts games on 17 of Intex Platinum Workstations equipped with Intel's Core 2 Quad processor and 15 of Intex TFT-LCD monitors. There were Intex multimedia speakers also playing the music on demand in the background.
Sanjay Kumar, business manager-PC, Intex, said, "This activity is one of the multifarious brand-building activities that Intel has been carrying out jointly with Intex as a result of the premier channel partnership with Intex for its range of PCs. It is the 5th gaming event where Intex has participated in association with Intel after IITF-Nov, 2007- where we put up a Gaming Zone, SKOAR gaming event in Mumbai in Jan-08 and events at college festivals of Delhi College of Engineering and Punjab Engineering College in Feb & March-08, respectively."
The History Channel has been organizing the event at various lounges - popular hang-outs amongst youths - across Delhi and Mumbai to bring in together hard-core gamers, gaming technicians and youngsters to experience the emerging opportunities and "real world" information in global gaming industry.
Intex is a 12-year old IT hardware, mobile phones and electronics company, headquartered in New Delhi. The company has a pan-India presence.
