Ending his decade long association with networking major Cisco, Jangoo Dalal, president and country manager for India and SAARC region, is now set to move on for new assignments.
"Jangoo Dalal has decided to put in his papers to pursue his career further and take up a better opportunity," Varghese M. Thomas, vice president (Corporate Communications) of Cisco India told Channel Times.
An industry veteran with more than 18 years experience, Dalal had joined Cisco in 1997 during the company's formative years of India operation, and was responsible for conceiving, launching, and implementing the value-added network services portfolio as a standalone profit center.
He has also headed the company's enterprise and commercial operations in India. Prior to this, he was based in Singapore, and was responsible for developing Cisco's channel operations and strategy function, across the Asia-Pacific Region.
Earlier, he had started his career with IDM and went to join Wipro-British Telecom as their marketing manager.
Naresh Wadhwa, vice president of Cisco Systems, India and SAARC, will hold additional responsibility as the interim country manager.

CISCO in India needs just two outsourced employees to grow 40% year on year : One employee to book orders and another to ensure deliveries.Rest of the organization is redundant.Manoj, Rangu or Jangoo or anyone else is superfluous to this behemoth organization |
