Kingston Intros 4GB 1066 MHz DDR2 Memory Quad Kits

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Apr 1, 2008

Kingston Technology Company, the independent memory products manufacturer, has rolled out its 1066 MHz DDR2 memory modules in quad-kit configurations.

Initially released under the Kingston HyperX brand, the memory combination uses 4 1-GB modules, specifically designed to work together as a 4GB environment, to support high-performance processing demands.

According to Nitin Malhotra, country manager, India, Kingston Technology, 4 gigabyte configurations are becoming increasingly popular in gaming and enthusiast applications, supporting both the Vista operating system and the high-processing needs of games and sophisticated software.

"Introducing a 4 gigabyte kit using 4 1-GB modules provides a low-cost solution to consumers wanting the performance of a 4 gigabyte environment without the price tag," he added.

Kingston HyperX is backed by a lifetime warranty and free technical support. The 4GB 1066 MHz kit of 4 is priced at Rs.11,230.

Kingston products are distributed in India by Avnet India, HCL, Ingram Micro, Kobian Electronics and Transtek Infoways.
