Kobian has launched a new monitor series - Mercury PerfectView LCD Monitor 1990 - comprising 15-inch and 19-inch models. Targeting toward home and office users, the series offers power efficiency by consuming less power as compared to 40W consumed by conventional models, the company said. Additionally, the series also features a 'button-less' design, a harmonic circle stand and thin frame with only 0.285mm pixel pitch.
The Mercury 1990 provides high resolution images of up to 1440 X 900, with a contrast ratio of 2000:1, brightness of 300cd/m" and the 170 / 160 horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Users can also change the monitor from a working tool to a multi-media digital center, as it can support analog RGB and digital DVI input video signals.
Commenting on the new launch, Sandeep Sharma, VP (India Operations), Kobian, said, "Mercury has always targeted to offer products for the mass consumers. The PerfectView series is equipped with ECO mode, which allows the user to have multiple scene selection to view different content. Both Mercury 15-inch wide and 19-inch wide models are with Dynamic Color Boost feature to enrich the color vividness and enhance customer experience. The wide viewing angle of the monitor maintains color consistency and image clarity that allow users to share content with others."
