LG Announces March Magic Booster for Partners

LG Electronics India (LGEIL) has introduced a new point-based channel scheme titled "March Magic" for its trade partners.
Valid from March 1 to 31, 2008, the scheme is applicable to all the resellers and system assemblers buying from LG's RDs, channel partners. Under the scheme, on each purchase of LG's 19" wide LCD monitor, partners get 5,000 points. Partners will also be given booster points in accordance with the quantity of the monitors they buy.
These points can be converted to value through a conversion factor called "X Chromosome". The conversion factor is kept as mystery, so as to disallow any probable price discounting and will be announced by the end of March through e-mailers and Press.
For the values arrived using the X Chromosome factor, the channel partners can avail any of the following redemption options 15" CRT/17" Flat or CRT 19" wide monitors.
Commenting on this new channel scheme, R Manikandan, business group head (IT division) of LGEIL said, "This program is intended to enhance the profitability of the channel partners. Timed with corporate buying, we are trying to hit the right chord by announcing such offers on 19" wide LCD monitors."
The cut-off date to claim the benefits of the scheme for the partners is April 15, 2008.
