LG Overdrive: New Scheme for LG Channel Partners

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Jun 05, 2008 1212 hrs IST

In a bid to enhance the profitability of its channel partners, LG has made addition to its mega successful LG Powerplay scheme -- LG Overdrive. The LG Overdrive will be valid from June 1, 2008 to July 31, 2008. The scheme will be applicable to all the resellers and system assemblers buying from LG's authorized regional distributors. LG Power Play is valid pan India on LG monitors and optical drives. To qualify for this scheme, the partner needs to buy the pre-requisite quantity per invoice and extra miles get accumulated by buying in multiples of the minimum quantity. R Manikandan, head, Business Group (Monitors and OSDs), said, "We take this opportunity to thank the channel partners for their overwhelming response to LG Powerplay. LG reciprocates with yet another exciting channel scheme for June and July - Overdrive 2008. We will try our best to extend full support to partners in administration and execution of this scheme through structured call center and website." Fuel Multiplier: Depending on market conditions, LG may decide to announce a multiplication factor, by which the total miles accumulated will be multiplied. This fuel multiplier at the start of the program is 1 and may be enhanced for specific market(s)/product(s)/period(s). Also, you get amazing rewards at every milestone. Loyalty Bonus: All Powerplay qualifiers can get 20 percent additional miles as loyalty bonus if they achieve minimum 15 percent growth on the total quantity of monitors or minimum 15 percent growth on the total quantity of ODDs purchased in Apr-May '08. Handshake Incentive: All Powerplay registrants will get an auto credit of 30 miles or on registering before 10th June. Registering for the scheme is easy by simply logging on to www.lgchannels.com/lgoverdrive. The partner would be automatically enrolled for the Overdrive Program if they are a registered member of LG Powerplay.
Will it really benefit the channel partners?
