LG Electronics has launched a new 15.6 - inch Wide LCD monitor. This LCD is likely to replace CRT Monitors and has got high picture clarity due to the presence of Digital Fine Contrast ratio of 5000:1 and f-engine.
According to the company, the LG's f-engine is the world's first picture correction technology chip in LCD Monitors to improve the image quality. "A higher contrast ratio implies vivid image, brighter picture and sharper text. LG's LCD monitors have high contrast ratio as compared to many commonly available LCD monitors in the market. The 5000:1 DFC and f-engine ensure such striking picture clarity that the customer does not have to compromise on the picture quality, even in the entry-level product," says R Manikandan, business group head (IT Division) of LGEIL.
The product is targeting the home segment, small offices, small and medium enterprises and ITES segment. This will be available in the market with a price tag of Rupees 7800.
