LG Electronics India recently announced the launch of its ultra-slim ultra-light 13.3-inch premium notebook - the P300 series - targeted at the performance- and style-minded younger generation.
The notebook weighs 1.6 kg and is extremely slim with a thickness of only 21 mm.
Commenting on the latest launch, Anil Arora, business group head, PCs, GSM and DAV, LG Electronics India, said, "Consumers today are looking for the right mix of great features and amazing looks while purchasing laptops. As this new product brings together a slim and light design with high portability, ease of use, and top-notch performance, it is clearly the right choice for the active business professionals of today."
This notebook is being positioned amongst the youth and professionals with the concept of providing harmony between mobility and performance, he added.
The notebook is crafted with a black rose pattern with the brim made of an aluminum material. Making use of metal hairline, the cover is in harmony with the design of the wrist support area of the keyboard. The cover is offered in two colors: Black Rose and Wine Rose.
The P300 boasts an Nvidia Geforce 8400M graphics chip, 4GB DDR2 memory, and a 250-GB SATA type hard disk drive. It features a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a maximum 3MB L2 cache. The LED Back-Light LCD of the P300 series brings with it a clearer screen for 3D gaming, video and picture viewing owing to enhanced brightness and contrast ratio. The Surround System (SRS) high-output stereo speakers and 1.3 megapixel webcam makes the notebook an ideal mobile entertainment machine.
The P300 notebook is available in the Indian market for Rs.75,000 (plus taxes).
