LG Unveils Full Touch Screen Mobile Phone in India

LG, in association with Reliance Mobile, has announced the launch of a full touch screen handset in India, offering HTML-enabled browser and internet connectivity. Targeted at CDMA users, the LG10000 phone also facilitates dual applications with QWERTY keypad and touch screen interface.
Steve Koh, country head, LG CDMA, said, "We have launched the LG Voyager with similar features in the US markets, and have seen the response and product satisfaction experienced by customers. The LG 10000 is another addition in our endeavor to constantly evolve and give our customers in India the latest in technology, while keeping our products as user-friendly and attractive as possible."
Some of the other features of the phone include: MP3 player, 2.8-inch LCD display, 2.0 megapixel camera, video recorder, extendable memory up to 8GB, office mail applications, battery life of up to 240 minutes (talk time), stand-by time of 480 hours, call memory of up to 270 calls, phone book memory of up to 1000 contacts, and dual stereo speakers.
Priced between Rs.22,000 and Rs.25,000, the phone is available at Reliance Exclusive stores and retail outlets across the country.
