LG Unveils New Series of Ultra Slim Televisions

LG Electronics has launched three new series of ultra slim televisions - 21/29FU6RG, 21/29FU8RGE and 21/29FU8VGE - in the Indian market
Speaking on the occasion, Moon B Shin, Managing Director, LGEIL, said "This segment is undoubtedly going to be the biggest growth driver in 2008. This year we would clearly focus on providing a lot of value additions to upgrade existing basic & mid-end consumer and provide our customers with innovative and cutting edge products."
Amitabh Tiwari, Business Group Head, Consumer Electronics and Kitchen Appliances, LGEIL, said "Slim/ultra slim TV category has seen a sudden spurt in growth especially with anti dumping duty being levied on flat TV making its price almost at par with slim televisions. This segment is an emerging market and is extremely important to LG India in terms of sales, thus inspiring us to introduce products of international standards here. We at LG Electronics are pleased to introduce our revolutionary range in and plan to achieve sales worth Rs. 2700 cr in 2008 in this market."
The 21/29FU6RG comes with turbo sound, 200/300 W sound output, and has a feature of going to music mode too. This model is priced at Rs. 10,700 (21FU6RG") and Rs. 18700 (29FU6RG").
The 21/29FU8RGE is a part of the X sorts of LG television. This model is priced at Rs. 8,900 (21FU8RGE") and Rs. 16,600 (29FU8RGE").
The 21/29FU8VGE comes with attractive turbo sound and 400/600 W sound output with woofer. This model is priced at Rs. 10,500 (21FU8VGE") and Rs. 18,400 (29FU8VGE").
