Lenovo has launched the ThinkCentre A62 desktop PC in the Indian market. As per a company communique, the new desktop PC will provide enterprise and SMB customers with improved total cost of ownership throughout a longer PC lifecycle. The ThinkCentre A62 is equipped with features that increase user productivity and simplify fleet software-image creation, deployment and maintenance, the company said.
Jaivinder Singh Gill, Executive Director, Relational Business, Lenovo India, said, "With ThinkCentre A62, Lenovo is forging one step ahead further by offering the best of breed Think products to enterprise and SMB customers. Designed to deliver performance and enhanced manageability, the ThinkCentre A62 is being offered at an attractive price point. We are sure that customers across industries will find it to be the right solution for varied business needs."
The ThinkCentre A62 uses up to 40% less electricity than its ThinkCentre predecessor due to the efficiency of new AMD 15w CPU - Athlon 2650e. The system is GREENGUARD and EPEAT Gold certified and ENERGY STAR 4.0 rated.
"The combination of AMD Athlon processors and Lenovo's ThinkCentre range delivers a whole new level of value for customers seeking performance coupled with energy efficiency. The dynamic power management and advanced performance-per-watt capabilities of AMD Athlon processors will enable Lenovo's customers to realize its capabilities while continuing Lenovo's strong history of developing eco-friendly solutions," said Ramkumar Subramanian, VP (Sales and Marketing), AMD India.
For a complete high performance green computing solution, the A62 can be combined with ThinkVision TFT monitors that are low-power and EPEAT Gold certified.
