Lenovo Presents Free Extended Warranty Upgrade

Lenovo is presenting a 'Peace of Mind' offer for the customers. It is a free warranty upgrade from 1 to 3 years on select consumer PC offering. The offer is available on Lenovo Idea Pad Y510, the Y410 Snowmountain series and Lenovo IdeaCentre K200 desktop models. These free upgrades vary from 1 to 3 years and in some instances from 1 to 2 years.
To avail this offer, customers need to buy the product between April 15 to May 30, 2008, and register themselves at www.lenovo.com/in/summercarnival.
Contextually, the company has also announced a special student offer, under which every student with a valid ID card is eligible to win a Puma Sports Kit (Bag + T-Shirt) over and above the regular warranty offer on purchase of a Lenovo Idea Pad Y510 or Lenovo Snowmountain Y410. To make the most out of referrals, Lenovo also has in store a 2GB USB Flash Drive for students, who refer 5 friends. A Wi-Fi router and warranty leading to savings of nearly Rs.7,500 can also be won.
The features of the products that come under this offer are:
* Lenovo IdeaPad Y510: An all-in-one 15.4-inch wide screen notebook that features a Dolby 4.1 Home Theater speaker system for enhanced sound output. It is equipped with Intel Centrino processor technology, integrated graphics, WLAN connectivity, five speakers including a subwoofer, an integrated camera, battery life indicator and a DVD-RW optical drive.
* IdeaCentre K200 Desktop: It features Lenovo's Bright Vision for eyesight protection and is engineered with an anti-bacterial keyboard, which uses special materials on the surface of the keys to restrain bacterial growth. It is equipped with Card Reader Support and Dual tone color, and incorporates Lenovo's vantage technology along with one-key recovery, one-key antivirus, file management and installing drivers and software.
* Lenovo Snowmountain Y410: A Multimedia notebook that features Audio DJ capability allowing users to play music, while the laptop is turned off, a multimedia software application for easy photo editing and Power to go, for reading and recording data.
