Lipi Data Partners with Imation India

Imation India, a subsidiary of Imation Corp. (a provider of removable data storage media), today announced the appointment of Lipi Data Systems, a printer manufacturer and IT distribution company, as its national distributor for Imation range of products.
According to Sanjay Koul, country manager (India & Saarc) of Imation India, "Lipi Data Systems has extensive channel network and presence across all market geographies including the B & C class cities which is ideal as far as our distribution and channel objectives are concerned. Besides, Lipi Data Systems has formidable service, support and warehousing facilities that are of immense benefit to Imation."
With this tie up Imation shall leverage on Lipi Data Systems pan-India reach as it has 105 sales & service offices, 22 warehouses in almost all major states and 500 direct-billing dealers and several thousand resellers across every nook and corner of the country under its fold, thereby reaching out to customers even in remote locations. Its access to upcountry markets will be of immense advantage for Imation as they have come to represent enormous business potential in the recent past, the company said.

Lipi manufacturers, produces and retails line, dot matrix, lasers, thermals and dye sublimation printers. Lipi's product range also includes UPS, monitors, storage devices, etc. It is now diversifying into manufacturing of ATMs and banking products. Besides its own product range, Lipi distributes IT products nationally for international brands like Tally Genicom ,Brother, Samsung, Canon, Fargo, Matica, PSI, Perto, Rimage, Rowe, Sewoo, Tandberg, Datamax and MGE OPS.
