MSI has introduced the S300 Crystal Collection notebook in India, which it claims is the world's first 13.3" notebook with crystal.
The Crystal Collection features MSI's crystal ring with 120 pieces of genuine Swarovski crystal, 13.3" ACV (Amazing Crystal Vision) widescreen display, the Shiny UV light glossy coating, and Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology. The Crystal Collection also integrates four high-quality speakers, two located on the top of keyboard and another two located on the left-hand and right-hand sides of the notebook.
The MSI S300 Crystal Collection features a strong set of components including a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel 945GM, a 120 GB SATA hard drive and a super multi-DVD burner.
The Intel Core 2 Duo platform is ready to support the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It can simultaneously run multiple demanding applications such as graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching business productivity applications, while downloading music or running virus-scanning security programs in the background.
The new notebook is equipped with a 3-in-1 card reader, IEEE1394 connecting interface and a multi-DVD burner. Moreover, integrated with the 802.11 b/g wireless networking standard, the S300 Crystal Collection will get users on the internet wirelessly anytime while also featuring Bluetooth wireless transmission capability for added connectivity.
The new notebook would be available in India by February at approx price of Rs 90,000.
