MSI, a manufacturer of computer products, has announced the launch of its latest N9400GT series of graphics cards. As per a company communique, this is the most affordable DirectX 10 ready and Windows Vista 3D acceleration graphics card solution available in the market.
By offloading tasks from the CPU, the users can share, edit and manage photos and videos. The series has a native built-in HDMI interface, and provides options for premium 512MB larger graphics frame buffer or standard 256MB choice. The two models, N9400GT-MD512H and N9400GT-MD256H, claim to possess extremely high quality, zero-noise audio and video output through a silent thermal design.
MSI N9400GT also has a 100% offload of H.264 video decoding from the CPU and significantly reduces power consumption. This Hardware Decode Acceleration function provides playback of H.264, VC-1, WMV and MPEG-2 HD and SD movies.
The GPU series also supports the latest Nvidia PhysX technology, which enables a new genre of physical gaming interaction. With the power of the N9400GT GPUs' unified architecture and Nvidia's new GPU PhysX technology, users can have multiple ultra high polygon characters in complex environments along with fully simulated physical effects.
