MSI Unveils Quad-Core Ready Motherboards

Micro-Star International, the designers and manufacturers of high-quality motherboards, revealed its quad-core ready motherboard series, coinciding with Intel's launch of its latest Core 2 Extreme QX6700 quad-core processor.
Sanyam Sethia, marketing manager, MSI, said, "With the Launch of the quad-core ready MSI solutions, we are set to give all gamers and home theater aficionados the ultimate platform experience. The boards are equipped with the MSI exclusive technologies to provide the required thrust for reaching the optimum performance, silence, image and sound precision."
"We are providing the channel with extra rewards starting this quarter to promote these high-end products," he added.
The MSI quad-core ready motherboard base, including the Intel 975X, P965, and G965 Express chipset, provides an extremely fast computing experience to enthusiasts.
The Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 will provide twice the L2 Cache and threads than the current Core 2 Duo. It will bring a smoother user experience in 3D games, video editing, and working with the coming Microsoft Windows Vista, etc. which requires the high computing resource.
MSI quad-core ready motherboards like 975X Platinum PowerUp Edition are equipped with the best circuit and power design, providing users an excellent platform to run with quad-core processors. In addition, the Dual CoreCell technology also makes the quad-core processors work to the extreme and provide an assurance of top Intel platform for all gamers, the company said.
The MSI quad-core ready motherboards are based on several Intel express chipsets including high-end discrete and integrated graphics with Intel GMA 3000 family.
In India, the products would be available through MSI's distributors namely, Tirupati, Priya, Esys and Maxtone.
