MTECH to Distribute Citrix Products in India

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Mar 18, 2008

Citrix Systems, a provider of application delivery infrastructure, has appointed M-Virtual Technology India (MTECH) as its distributor to grow its Application Network Group (ANG) business in India.

MTECH will provide sales and support value additions and solutions across offices at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. The partnership will also enable Citrix to leverage MTECH's expertise in security and Web application acceleration that covers pre-sales consultancy, proof of concepts, and RMA-spares support.

"The appointment of M-Virtual Technology to boost our Application Networking Group business is central to our growth strategy - which thrives on providing improved performance, security and reliability for applications to be delivered to end users across the network," said Souma Das, area vice-president - India from Citrix Systems.

"We are delighted to partner with Citrix and are confident that together we will be able to reach out to more organizations across the industries to address the growing market demand for an application delivery infrastructure that secures, optimizes and simplifies the delivery of applications," said Rajendra Shah, managing director from M-Virtual Technology.
