Micropro, Oracle Offer Combined Solution for SMBs

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Mar 24, 2008 1806 hrs IST

Micropro Software Solutions (Micropro), a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, plans to offer a complete, affordable and 'easy to use' solution for small to medium-sized companies in the healthcare industry based on Oracle. The solution integrates Micropro's hospital management information solution (HIS), Hospycare, with Oracle's database and middleware software to help customers ensure quality of care and patient safety. The combined solution can also help healthcare organizations attract and retain their workforce, mitigate costs and comply with regulations, the company said. "With Micropro's Hospycare HIS solution built on robust, standards-based Oracle technology, we have been able to realize our IT and business objectives in a short period of time," said Taher Shams, president, Zulekha Hospital. Sanjay Mokashi, director and chief operating officer, Micropro Software Solutions, said, "Oracle database and middleware technologies are both competitively-priced and easy to use, allowing us to develop healthcare solutions that meet our customer's business requirements." Micropro and Oracle will undertake sales, marketing and training programs for each other's products. Micropro also has access to Oracle Partner Solution Centers in China, India and Singapore, that are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, technical experts, tools, and best practices across Asia Pacific. Here, Micropro is able to seek technical architecture guidance to develop new applications using Oracle technology products, develop proof-of-concept and validate applications, among others. "Our customers expect us to deliver business value by providing easy to use software at attractive price points. Working with Micropro Software Solutions has enabled us to do exactly that offer innovative, industry-rich solutions that address critical business pain points," said Anup Varma, regional director for technology commercial sales, at Oracle India.
What do you think of Micropro's initiative?
