Motorola Unveils ROKR U9 for India Market

Motorola's latest introduction in the Indian market - MOTORO U9 - comes with an elegant form factor, Stereo Bluetooth 4, CrystalTalk Technology, external touch-sensitive music controls and an external display that reveals floating, animated screensavers.
Its features include: easy transition from phone to music and back again; Microsoft Windows Media Player 11; an integrated music player supports multiple audio files2 - Windows WMAv10 plus Janus DRM, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ enhanced; and USB 2.0 for speedy transfers and data access.
Additional in-demand features: up to 25 MB of on-board user memory and an optional microSD memory card enables storage of up to 4 GB of music, pictures and other media on an optional microSD memory card; advanced 'speaker independent' voice recognition dialing and talking phone features take 'hands free' to the next level; and a 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x zoom, multi-shot feature, video capture and playback.
Messaging capabilities via MMS1, SMS, Push Email.

Seamless, small and light weight, ROKR U9 has been designed to fit in the pocket or hand. Motorola has also created an ecosystem of additional products, accessories and services that make it easy to access and enjoy a wide array of digital music.
ROKR U9 is expected to be available for purchase across India by the end of May 2008. The deluxe pack will contain 1-GB micro SD card and the premium pack will come with a 2-GB micro SD card and the wireless stereo Bluetooth ROKR S9.
