NEC Launches New Faster LT280/380 LAN Projectors

NEC Solutions Asia Pacific recently announced addition of new faster LAN projectors to its product line. The NEC LT280 and LT380 LCD projectors feature integrated wired and wireless LAN compatibility.
"We have always strived to offer the latest and the best in display technology to our customers and this is a step further in that direction," said Sanjay Dhuria, country manager of NEC Solutions Asia Pacific. "NEC's new line of LT projectors offers a vastly superior software for projector and display control over your network, leaving the plain vanilla wireless projectors a thing of the past."
The company is now offering two digital projectors with powerful wireless and wired LAN connections which provide high-speed, content-rich communication to the audience. The LT280 and LT380 projectors are wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g compatible, with integrated RJ45 input which provides quick connection to the wired network, and allows the user to perform remote diagnostics to check the status of projectors.
Remote diagnostics enable the user to monitor and make adjustments to the projectors via the network from remote locations making these perfect installation projectors for large corporations, small/medium businesses, government and educational settings. The LT280/380 is also user-friendly, with features including email notifications that are sent to inform the user when the lamp approaches end of life.
The additional features of the NEC LT280 and LT380 projectors include enhanced security features, lamp saver technologies (including built-in sensors that protect the lamp and projector from overheating), advanced video processing and extensive input capabilities (including DVI-D with HDCP on the LT380). The LT280 has a brightness of 2500 ANSI lumens, while the LT380 is 20 percent brighter at 3000 lumens. Both projectors are XGA 1024x768 native resolution.
All the new projectors are now available through authorised NEC distributors/dealers. NEC Solutions Asia Pacific offers a two-year warranty. Prices, excluding VAT & other local levies, are: LT280 Projector - Rs 1,59,000 and LT380 Projector - Rs 1,94,900.
