Netgear Names Atul Jain Its New Country Manager

Netgear Technologies India, a subsidiary of Netgear Inc of USA and a provider of networking solutions to small and medium businesses and home segments, has promoted Atul Jain as its new country manager, India & Saarc. Kerman Rana, who was Netgear's regional manager for south & west, has been promoted as its director-channel sales.
Speaking on his new plans after taking over as country manager, Jain said, "This year we are aiming for 100 percent growth apart from appointing new VARs and SIs. Our renewed focus will be on technical support to customers and higher impetus to marketing initiatives."
In his new role, Jain will be responsible for taking care of all the country operations and sales and business development of Netgear in India.
On Netgear's channel sales plan, Kerman Rana said, "Our agenda is to substantially enhance our revenue by focusing on channel development and sales and at the same time to ensure channel profitability."
Netgear's suite of approximately 100 products enables users to share internet access, peripherals, files, digital multimedia content and applications among multiple personal computers and other internet-enabled devices. These products are grouped into three major segments: Ethernet networking, broadband, and wireless networking, which include switches, adapters, and secure wired and wireless routers and gateways.
