Netgear Strengthens Post-sales Support

Networking vendor Netgear announced the opening of its service centers in India to address the issues of replacement and warranty. The company expects to limit the turnaround time of its products replacement within 24-48 hours through this initiative.
"The service centers will enable our distributors and channel partners to focus more on the business as they need not have to worry about support any more," added Atul Jain, country manager.
Initially, the centers will be set up in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. This facility will then be extended to B and C class cities in a phased manner, informed Jain.
Incidentally, the company had launched a toll-free technical support helpline - 1800 425 4327 - two years back as part of its customer services.
Netgear has appointed RT Outsourcing as its third-party service provider in India. RT is an ISO 9001 certified technical support organization.
Netgear products are available in India through Rashi Peripherals, Cyberstar Infocom and Ingram Micro.
