Netgear To Train SI Channel Partners

Netgear Technologies is organizing a technical training program for its SI channel partners starting from April 9, 2007 in Delhi and will be covering other metros, viz., Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad in its first phase.
The second and third phase of the nationwide training programme would include 15 non-metros and will happen in May and June.
"This training session will help the clients in understanding and utilizing Netgear products effectively and profitably," said Atul Jain, country manager, India and SAARC, Netgear.
The full day training programme will consist of pre and post lunch sessions. While the pre lunch sessions at five of the major cities, except Hyderabad, will be addressed by Sanjay Kumar, head small & medium business (SMB) product line, Netgear USA, the post lunch sessions will focus on hands-on training to impart the techniques of configuration to channel partners for their customers.
"Netgear Technologies is focusing on SMB worldwide. We will follow the same focus for India as well. The objective is to equip our channel partners on Netgear Solutions on configuration of new products," said Kumar. The training will also have sessions on the application and configuration of various Netgear products like SSL VPN, smart switches and 801.22N(draft) wireless products.
Also the focus of training will be on new emerging technologies for SMB and Netgear s new products in SMART switches, managed switches, firewall, SSL VPN products and their usage for SMBs, besides few more newer technologies like 802.11N (Draft) wireless technology (upto 300Mbps), power line products, Netgear skype phones and digital entertainer.
