Nitin Malhotra Joins Kingston as Country Manager

By ChannelTimes Staff
Mumbai, Sep 7, 2007

Kingston Technology announced the appointment of Nitin Malhotra as its country manager for India. His responsibility will be to manage the company's business affairs in the Indian subcontinent.

As Kingston completes 1 year in the Indian market, the appointment of the new country head comes close on the heels of its ongoing expansion plans.

Talking about the company's new appointment, Scott Chen, vice president (Asia region) of Kingston Technology said, "With 12 years' of experience in channel and IT distribution, Nitin Malhotra comes armed with an in-depth, multi functional expertise in managing new markets for technology and digital lifestyle products."

Speaking on his new responsibility with the memory manufacturing company, Malhotra said, "Driving Kingston's expansion plans in India is an exciting challenge and I'm eagerly looking forward to it."

Malhotra will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for the company's business affairs in the Indian subcontinent. "His charter at the outset is to create awareness for the Kingston brand across product lines, streamline the distribution channels in the country, and increase the market share for the company," said Chen.

"Kingston offers the widest and most impressive product portfolio in the memory market and leads the market purely on the strength of its advanced technology, product quality, customer loyalty, and extensive support infrastructure," Malhotra added.

Malhotra replaced Rajesh Panicker as Kingston's new country head.

Congratulations to Mr Malhotra for joing kingston as a country manager. I hope that he will do good for kingstion. well the Brand is well known and in good fame but in some part of India its not as well familliar. compare to other brands . I am knowing that kingston Brand is the no 1 brand in memory modules. So he had to work in other states like Gujarat and Rajasthan and mp too. He has to survey for cities like nadiad, Anand, bharach ,Ankleswar and Ahmedabad ,baroda surat and appoint one good delaer and give authorisation for the kigston products and so cutomers get somw what trust for that. this action is to make fast as soon as possible. I think kingston market will become strong onw day as compare to other brands. congratulation to Mr malhotra and wish you all the best for ur upcoming future. Mr. Rajesh Panicker is not sacked but he resigned from the company on this own. He could foresee the Kingston future in India so he left early; more wise people will follow his footsteps soon.
