In an attempt to help resellers getting easily partnered with Oracle, the company has launched a new initiative - Authorized Value Added Distributor (VAD) Remarketer Programme. Oracle has taken this initiative in alliance with Tech Pacific (erstwhile Ingram Micro). According to the company, the programme will enable Tech Pacific to resell Oracle products throughout India with the help of its resellers. Moreover, it will make easy for resellers to start selling Oracle products without investing heavily to build an Oracle practice.
The company has planned road shows and product knowledge sessions in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore to create awareness among resellers. Elaborating more on it, Sukhdeep Singh, Senior Director, Distribution and Commercial Channel Sales, Oracle Asia Pacific, said, "The 1- Click Ordering programme is a simplified way of working with the small resellers."
Adding more to it, Sanjay Achawal, Director (Technology Solution Group), Tech Pacific, said, "The biggest benefit of this programme is that resellers do not have to pay the Oracle Partner Network (OPN) fee to become an Oracle reseller. The whole programme mainly concentrates on increasing the market reach. It will also offer opportunities to resellers to sell more solutions."
The company that does not have a distribution agreement with Oracle can also become the part of this programme. The Remarketers can sell 1-Click Ordering Technology products with standard terms, conditions and prices. To be a part of Oracle's Remarketer Programme, the resellers should have the basic knowledge of SMB segment and should be selling entry level solutions.
