Pankaj Dubey to Leave Intex Technologies

By Sandhya Malhotra
Delhi, May 8, 2007

Pankaj Dubey, GM sales & marketing of Delhi-based Intex Technologies is all set to leave the organization on May 23, 2007. Currently, Pankaj Dubey is serving a one-month s notice period after putting his papers last month.

While talking to Channeltimes, Pankaj Dubey confirmed his exit from Intex but refused to mention his next destination. "I have spent more than two years with Intex and will be starting a new assignment on May 23, 2007. I enjoyed my tenure at Intex and am looking forward to start a new phase of my career."

Talking about his future prospects, Dubey further added that he has offers from various automobile and IT giants, but is yet to take a final call on them.

Intex officials confirmed Dubey s resignation and said that he would be transitioning out of Intex in the next few days. However, the vendor is yet to announce his replacement.

Dubey was the very face of the company amongst the channel community. Initially, Dubey had joined Intex as a national sales manager wherein after nine months the company promoted him to GM sales & marketing, Intex.
How will his exit affects Intex business?

Intex is such a company where Exit interview is just a formality. If somebody puts resignation nobody is bothered to ask why he is doing so.Very very unprofessional approach. There is no retention policy in this company, they just let the person go.

WHY PEOPLES ARE CREATING A NEWS .....I AM A NEUTRAL OUTSIDER...I DONT THINK PANKAJ DUBEY OR ANY OTHER PERSON IN ANY COMPANY IS SO INTELLIGENT THAT A COMPANY IS GOING TO RUIN ONLY DUE TO HIS EXIT.YOU ALL PAWAN GOSWAMI,MANOJ.BHARAT ETC ETC YOU ALL ARE PRAISING PD LIKE HE IS SYNOMOUS TO IT INDUSTRY.I THINK YOU ALL WERE DOING CHAMCHAGIRI TO HIM TO SAVE YOUR JOBS WHICH REMAINED UNFRUITFULL. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOUR SOCALLED PRODUCT MANAGERS LIKE SAILENDRA,RAJIV,SANJAY(I AM NOT TALKING OF RAJNESH) HARD WORKED FOR INTEX.I AM SURE YOU DONT KNOW BCOS YOU ALL CAME AFTER INTEX BIG TO TAKE MILEAGE FROM THE BRANDNAME.I WAS A VERY PART OF INTEX FOR 3/4 YEARS SO I KNOW.......THAT WHY BANSAL JEE IS HAVING A LIKING FOR THEM NOT FOR CHAMCHAGIRI........WHERE HE REACHED TODAY STARTING FROM A HUMBLE BACKGROUND I HOPE YOU ALL ARE JEALOUS OF HIM BCOS YOU CANT REACH THERE.AS PER PROFFESSIONALISIM WHAT IS THAT........THAT COUNTS ONLY AFTER RELATIONSHIP IN OUR INDUSTRY.........PRACTICAL EXAMPLE IS AS OUR CHANNEL IS NOT SO PROFFESSIONAL SO PD CANT SALE EVEN ONE SKU WITHOUT THE RELATIONSHIP OF EXECUTIVE WITH DEALER SO WHAT LIES IN YOUR MBA AND LML.....COMES ONLY AFTER RELATION AS STILL IT HARDWARE IS A SMALL INDUSTRY..............NOT A 100000 CRORE ONE.... STOP BLAMING AND WRITING ANYTHING......COME TO FRONT I WILL TEACH WHAT PD DESERVES AND NOT DESERVES.SO IF YOU GAINED A LOT FROM A PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL LET HIM STABLE IN A BIG CORPORATE AS HE DESERVES THAT AND ALREADY WORKED. CHEERS !!!

Dear Ramchandran, Its the leader who leads the team. In a war the strategy is a must and a general does not need to go in a warplace to prove himself. All what everyone is talking about is the strategy part. Its not hard you work, its how smartly you work. The product managers are hard working and good executors but not good managers which Intex may need at this hour.

This is a bad sign.I know the sales team is frustrated because of the mindset of the management.Intex stops the salaries of sale steam for no reason whatsoever. Everybody looks up to MR.pankaj dubey , after him the situation will become only worse. Intex is ruled by the 5-6 product managers who actually are chelas of the MD. they play all kind of politics thats the reason no good professional will stick in intex for long. be aware this the most unprofessional company to work with.

Its time now for Intex people to start valuing professionals. The changes and the growth trend that was started by Vikram Kalia and followed by Pankaj Dubey can continue only by someone professional. Intex cannot grow by the product managers who do only fulfillment job and have no head of their own.

pankaj sir, aapki taarif mein jo bhi shabad bola jaye, woh kam hai.lekin kuch logo ko aapki kadra nahi hai.kyuki unhone kabhi kisi ki kadra karna sikha hi nahi hai.Unka kaam hai bas apne maalik k talwe chatna or ji huzuri karte rehna.kyuki unhe pata hai ki INTEX k alawa unhe kahi job milegi hi nahi.kisi ne sahi kaha hai ki heere ki pehchan jouhri ko hoti hai.lekin intex mein koi jouhri hi nahi hai.wish u all the best ki aapko ek accha jouhri mile.

Who is Pankaj Dubey? If he were so dynamic than for sure his vision and performance never percolated to the Channel community or others have canaballised his credit. Not known to Channel, any authority at such a level of heirarchy may not be acceptable?Organized Organizations seldom bother such hiccups.

Intex has now become a large Corporation and every day a new body leaves or joins. It will really not affect the plans or growth of the company by such incidents. The management and the back up systems are too strong to even let it bother the working.

INTEX as a company is always based on the talent, vision and luck of MR.BANSAL nodoubt we cant take credit away from their dedicated, loyal staffs. But INTEX is not a company who is going to suffer due to exit of any tom and harry even MR.BANSAL because now it is a systamatic company running following a flowchart laid 8 years back.so best of luck for DUBEY and really very sorry for him also because even if he left he left a good organisation and may not get same acceptance, recognisation, job satisfaction what he got in INTEX.Bestr of luck Sail.Rajeev....replace him no need of new NSM.They all came and went without offering anything to INTEX but just enjoying the wave which we rippled........
