Plustek, the image solution company, announced the availability of OpticSlim M12 Plus scanner in the Indian market. Without the need of any power adapter or time for warming up, the new scanner is targeted at the highly mobile executives.
OpticSlim M12 Plus can scan most documents - be it the thick business cards, checks, receipts, expense reports - at a speed of 3 pages per minute in color mode. The inbuilt OCR software automatically recognizes the characters, and captures all characters with distinct clarity.
The scanner offers options of converting the documents into image, PDF and text format, and scanning the documents into various image formats - JPG, BMP, TIF and PCX. Its easy operations give mobile sales executives an option to close their accounts sooner than before.
The business card data stored can be synchronized, exported and imported to and from various mail messaging formats. While scanning a business card, the scanner prompts the user to opt for another saving option or export option apart from the default saving option into BCR Database.
According to Karen Ku, VP, Plustek, OpticSlim M12 Plus changes the lifestyle of the executives or business-class people who are always on travel. It enhances the capability by reducing the turnaround time of the business processes.
