Plustek Selects SPIRIT's VoIP Conferencing Engine

SPIRIT DSP, a provider of voice and video software engines, recently announced that Plustek, a Taiwanese manufacturer of telecommunication equipment for enterprises, has licensed its TeamSpirit 3.0 Conferencing Engine as the core for its corporate conferencing system Plus@com PC2000.
The Plus@com PC2000 combines instant interactive communication functions with live video. It delivers complete corporate coverage with the flexibility and reliability to support multifunction applications, such as instant messaging, real-time audio-and-video meetings, call transfer, chatting, data sharing, among others.
"SPIRIT enables application developers and equipment makers to create reliable multipoint conferencing systems. We are glad Plustek has appreciated the high performance and scalability of our solutions," stated Alex Kravchenko, VP-sales of SPIRIT. "With continuous wins from numerous mobile OEMs, SPIRIT remains the strongest provider of embedded voice and video products in the enterprise segment."

SPIRIT Conferencing Engine technology may be used to arrange conferencing sessions for dozens to thousands of participants. The engine comprises a set of modules and interfaces meeting development requirements for both rapid integration and flexible control.
