Ranal Partners Open Gateway to Infrastructure
By

Mumbai, Sep 5, 2007
Making a departure from the conventional approach, project lifecycle management software vendor - Ranal Software - has decided to plunge into the infrastructure vertical after 5 partners suggested on a concurrent line.
"Instead of foraying into this new vertical based on our own understanding, we've decided to enter into infrastructure vertical, after partners from Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad gave us identical, but separate leads in the same direction," said Vijay Babu, vice president (Bangalore-based) of Ranal Software.
He said that they were familiar only with the IT and manufacturing space, and were apprehensive when their partners introduced them to their existing clients in infrastructure management.
Babu added, "We thought our tool may not be best for this segment, but when we interacted with clients, we realized that we could add value and meet their requirements."
Following this, the vendor will be sharing their experience with other partners. "We're calling our IT partners for a session, to go over the experience that we've had in the infrastructure segment, and are also encouraging a partner to speak at the session to be mostly held in Bangalore in October," said Babu.
Babu further said that Ranal's software would be competitive in infrastructure due to a better Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and its ease of utility. "Unlike other big players in this segment, we're set apart because our products development takes place in India, making the reaction time to incorporate or reject any changes much faster," said Babu on the advantage of Ranal software.
