Real Image to Distribute Houdini Suite in India

Real Image Media Technologies announced it has been appointed exclusive distributor by Side Effect Software for its Houdini animation software in India.
Houdini product range includes Houdini Master for VFX, Houdini Escape for animation, the Mantra - renderer, as well as the command-line Houdini Batch. The company will also be distributing educational versions of Houdini to institutions that wish to introduce a procedural workflow into their curriculum.
The Houdini software's feature set includes modeling, rigging, animation, particle effects, dynamics, compositing, integrated rendering, etc. It is available for the Mac OS X, Linux and Windows operating systems.
Commenting on the partnership, Kim Davidson, president and CEO, Side Effects Software, said, "Real Image Media Technologies has played a key role in enabling the transition to digital technologies for the entertainment and media sector in India.
