THE ABOVE PURCHESED M/C HAVE NOT PROVIDED RATE PROTECTOR,BECOUSE OF THATE REASON RATE ENTERED IN TO M/C AND SPOILED THE POWER CABLE.

Samsung is making fake commitment to innocent people. They dont know even ABCD of cuntomer satisfaction. There more intrest is towards selling things and making money they wont give any support. I am writing this because i am one of the suffer. Dear Sir,
I have assembled my P.C. 5 months back from a vendor and my harddisk was of Samsung.But unfortunately my harddisk got damaged some time back.but since it was in warranty i gave it to my vendor for replacement.But he says that i gave it to samsung for replacement and samsung guys say that the hard disk will not be replaced since it got damaged due to power fluctuations.Is this the valid reason he is giving me or my vendor is fooling me.Please tell me urgently otherwise i will be a great loss for me .My vendor name is "Rahul" and he is from Panvel Navi-Mumbai.Can i take any action against him. |

First of all ask for HDD Bill. Then Change your vendor.. Ask other vendor to do so... |

Which customers shall be covered under the five year warranty?

The 5-year warranty applies to all customers who purchase drives either directly through SIEL distributors, or through the Authorized Distribution channel. This includes Storage Partners, Channel SIs, System Builders, Retail customers, and Bare drive customers who purchase through Samsung Authorised Distributors.

Even if the printed sticker indicates only a 3-year warranty, will the five year warranty still apply on it?

The warranty is applicable to all drives with manufacturing date from Aug 1, 2004 and onwards. Hence even if you have purchased the product earlier, it will be covered under the five warranty if the manufacturing month is August 2004 and onwards.
