Seagate Extends Training for Partners

After introducing Maxtor One Touch TM products in the market, Seagate is concentrating on its marketing strategy to push the new products in the market through different channels.
Witnessing the need of storage protection and backup, the company debuts 4 Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus for data protection and industry 2nd generation desktop and enterprise Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) hard drives Berracuda.
With the latest addition in the company products list Berracuda 7200.11 & ES.2, Maxtor One Touch4 Plus, OneTouch4 Mini, and OneTouch4, the company will focus on the mobile customers, home users, and corporate segment.
The company is concentrating more on home user as content is generated more from the home rather than office.
Detailing more on its marketing strategy, Rajesh Khurana, country manager, (India & Saarc) of Seagate, said, "The company has appointed Supertron to distribute the new product, as it has the required expertise for this solution and backup market."
The company foresees better growth in the coming year. So it has plan to impart better information, training and thereby educate the channel partners. "We always encourage active participation of partners in Seagate programs, so that they get regular updation on the company's new technology," Khurana further added.
The new products will be available in mid-November.
