TVS ICS Rolls Out New Solutions Under TVS Net

TVS Interconnect Systems, part of the TVS Group, has launched its structured cabling products under the brand name "TVS Net". The new brand offers integrated comprehensive solutions on voice/data/video and wireless across the country.
TVS Net solutions include technical support, on-site repair, project management, warranties management and installation services.
S. Ashok, general manager-networking, TVS ICS, said, "With the new brand, we plan to focus on the SMB segment and the company is looking to increase its network of sub-distributors from the current 24 to about 40 and resellers and system integrators from the existing 150 to about 250 partners."
The company also offers a single-window approach toward turnkey solutions in broadband deployment, campus wide area network, enterprise LAN/WAN networks in design supplies, installation and maintenance on the networks. It carries active networking products under the Planet brand and structured cabling products from R&M Switzerland.
The company, which works on a regional distribution model, is embarking on a series of demand-generation programs. The first in the line is partner meets in 14 cities in the second and third week of June 2006. "The company is conducting certified programs for its system integrators to enable them to sell the TVS Net solutions as effectively as possible," Ashok added.
The company recently bagged prestigious orders to provide network infrastructure for the Bangalore and Hyderabad Airports, in partnership with SISL.
