Tata Elxsi Ties Up with Fujitsu India

Tata Elxsi, the technology arm of Tata Group, has joined hands with Fujitsu India, a provider of customer-focused information technology and communications solutions for the global marketplace, as its national system integration partner.
Under the alliance, Tata Elxsi will take the entire range of Fujitsu India products including the business of servers, workstations and storages to the market from the system integration perspective. Tata Elxsi has multi-location presence spread across the country which Fujitsu looks to leverage on.
Tata Elxsi addresses a large vertical customers' segment, which includes enterprise, consumer electronics, entertainment, media, storage, IT/ITES, telecom, etc. It also provides customized design solutions to companies across the globe.The tieup would involve a lot of marketing activities in the private sector too and a sizable chunk of the business is expected from that space as well, a company release stated. The two companies plan to roll out solutions that will address diverse needs across segments during the course of the year
Speaking on the tieup, M. M. Prasad, general manager & head-India Business, System Integration division of Tata Elxsi, said, "Fujitsu is a global brand which is known to be a innovator of technology. By collaborating with Fujitsu, we believe it will further advance our already strong and robust solutions portfolio and enhance our product offerings in the market."
Tosh Kataoka, general manager-IT business, Fujitsu India, said, "It is a win-win opportunity for both Fujitsu India and Tata Elxsi. While Tata Elxsi would leverage on Fujitsu's brand equity, technology leadership, we would gain from their presence and experience in the automotive, aerospace, defence, education & research, media & entertainment and manufacturing verticals."
