Tata Indicom Intros Radio Phone with AM/FM Feature

Tata Indicom has launched a new CDMA AM/FM enabled mobile phone - the Radio Phone. This new handset comes with a radio-inspired design with volume boosters for clarity of sound. Along with the FM frequency channels, the handset comes equipped with AM too, a first amongst CDMA phones, the company said.
"The introduction of AM/FM enabled radio phones will fulfill the growing need for music and information on the move," said Milesh Ruparel, President (Corporate Affairs), Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra).
Some of its other specifications include separate one touch keys, 1.8 inch TFT screen, Hindi SMS facility and long standby time. The phone is available in stylish color options at an attractive price of Rs. 2199 at all leading Tata Indicom outlets.
