Tirupati Intros New Products At Corsair Roadshows
By

Mumbai, Dec 12, 2006
Kolkata-based Tirupati Enterprises held a series of roadshows for Corsair, the memory solutions provider, from December 5-11 in Hyderabad, Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad to generate brand awareness for Corsair as well as to get feedback from the channel.
Scott Thirlwell, APAC sales director, and Shane Dennison, APAC sales manager, specially flew in to take part in the roadshow to gain market feedback that will enable them to formulate sales strategies for 2007.
Dennison said, "Just because we are one of the world's leading memory brands, Corsair is not arrogant to think that we can just replicate strategies that worked in other countries to be successful in India. India is unique and therefore it will take a unique approach. Channel schemes and strong warranty polices are very important, we have quickly learned. Corsair will have the best sales scheme and warranty in place immediately."
"Roadshows are the best opportunity to offer sales training to our dealer network. Corsair is not a normal memory company in that we are focused on the premium end of the market and have many memory products with high-end features. All this takes specialized knowledge from the people selling our memory," he added.
Thirlwell and Dennison said that Corsair will introduce product policies "never before seen in the India market" such as the 'No Questions Asked' 10-year RMA policy. They went on to explain that if a dealer sells a Corsair memory module and experiences any problems they can contact their local Tirupati office and request an immediate replacement with no lengthy product repairs.
Thirlwell said, "The secret is that our RMA rate is under 1 percent worldwide, so we see a lot less product failures than other memory companies that are not focused on building a long reputation for top quality like Corsair is. Our process starts with qualification of only the best branded memory chips, state-of-the-art manufacturing and then finished product testing."
Some of the products launched during the roadshow included a 620-Watt power supply (PSU) Nvidia SLi-certified with modular cables and silent operation as well as a new high-end memory series called Dominator, which has dual heat sink technology, allowing operation at memory speeds of up to 1111MHz.

Are you trying to say Corsair products are not good ? Or are you doubting the 10 Yr RMA policy ? If yes then you are sadly mistaken. |
