Toshiba's New Channel Plans for the Indian Market

Toshiba Computer Systems Division in a channel event at Hyderabad shared its product roadmap, reiterated and shared its plans and outlook for the Indian market.

The two-day event recognized the efforts and critical role the channel partners play in bringing Toshiba mobile computing technology to the mainstream Indian markets. Even Toshiba's top 200 channels partners were acknowledged and rewarded for their contributions during this event.

"Toshiba is driving innovation by working with these channels partners who are leaders in the marketplace," said Junichi Ishikawa, general manager of Toshiba Computer Systems Division. Further he added, "Our goal is to help our channel partners gear up to speed to deliver better mobile computing solutions that are value-adding to their customers."

Over the years Toshiba's technology leadership with high performance products as well as a strong reputation for reliability has cemented a stronghold to successfully establish and strengthen the blocks for its business with software vendors, channels, enterprise and government markets.

This event was also instrumental in communicating Toshiba's marketing plans and new product lines, with strong emphasis at the innovation, reliability and style theme.

We appreciate the role played by dealers and channel partners in our partnership's success in India and take this opportunity to thank them for their support," said Ajai Chowdhry, chairman and CEO of HCL Infosystems Limited.

Talking about the significance of holding such dealers events Chowdhry said, "This is an event that's not only helpful in taking the channel partners through upcoming product lines and strategies but it also helps to garner vital feedback and to aptly thank them for their contributions.

He also requested all channel partners to embrace the new products being launched so that together they can address the needs of the customers and take technology innovation to their doorsteps.
