ValueFirst Plans to Expand Channel Network

By Sharmee Roy
New Delhi, Jul 10, 2006

Data service provider ValueFirst Messaging is aggressively looking to expand its channel network to target the SME segment. The company started its India operations two years back.

Nimesh Bhandari, VP-mobility solutions, ValueFirst Messaging, said, "We have experienced success for our products in the SME segment. We are not only targeting metros, but also smaller cities like Dehradun, Lucknow and Haryana. We have already appointed 20-plus partners over the last one month."

Currently, the company has a network of 60 to 65 partners across India who are primarily SI partners. The company is looking to add about 200 partners to its network by the end of this financial year. The principal's major focus would be on the northern and western regions.

Bhandari said, "We foresee 70 percent of our revenues coming from the business done through our channels. We have extensive training programs for our partners from time to time, and are looking for partners who have long-term relationship with the SMB segment."

The company has essentially been an enterprise player across all verticals like BPOs, financial segments, etc. The company doesn't follow the distributor route, but, Bhandari said, "in case any partner performs well, we might consider appointing it as our national distributor".

ValueFirst is looking to rope in partners who can understand technology, have decent software skill sets and are also able to configure and implement its solutions. It is also looking at partners who are into networking market. With its new expansion plans, the company is targeting a revenue of Rs 24 crore next quarter.
What do you think of ValueFirst's growth plans?

I am impressed with the revenue potential of ValueFirst's mobile solutions for channels. Not many companies provide long term revenue opportunities. May I request Mr. Bhandari to get in touch with me? I want my company Vishal IT Solutions to become a part of ValueFirst growth.
