Verbatim's New Media Range Focuses on India

Verbatim, a provider of digital storage solutions, has introduced its new range of optical products with a special focus on the Indian market.
The new series includes:
CDs and DVDs with AZO technology: Manufactured with AZO dye, these CDs and DVDs ensure long lasting storage up to 50 years and more, claims the company. They are compatible with all types of the CD and DVD drives.
LightScribe CDs & Colored background LightScribe DVDs: They offer consumers a hassle-free labeling with same laser that burns the data with special LightScribe drives.
Double-layer DVDs: With double-layer DVDs, user can burn double the capacity of regular DVD with out flipping.
Blu-ray Disc & HDD Disc: Developed for recoding and playback of high definition (HD) video, the Blu-ray disk can hold up to 25 GB of data.
Magnetic Opto (MO): As per the company, MO is one of the most reliable optical media used for long-lasting storage needs like data records manual etc.
"The optical media represents the next-generation of storage performance, offering an extremely powerful, yet easy-to-use solution. It addresses the growing market need to store an ever-increasing amount of data, while offering built-in protection to keep valuable data," said Ramesh Tuli, country head (India), Verbatim.
