Viewsonic All Set to Expand its Base

To increase the market share and brand penetration, Viewsonic is set to increase its partner base in India from 185 silver finch members to 285 members.
Gautam Ghosh, country manager of Viewsonic, said, "With this, the company is trying to extend its reach in tier 2, 3 and 4 cities by early next year."
Starting from the all the state capitals, the company has plans to spread its wings to all the district headquarters and business hubs like Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, etc.
Mentioning the criteria to select the members, Ghosh further said, "We are looking for long-term partnerships, where the member can give us maximum mind share and is ready to launch our products."
According to Ghosh, price instability and channel management are the major challenges for the company. It's trying to combat with the issue by increasing its focus on quality and technology.

Mr Gautam Ghosh, Kindly look after your service support, its pathetic, and huge numbers of TFTs are lying in T2 and T3 Level. More ever you are selling your products to 3 National Distributors, and the price call is taken by the National Distributors, so how are you maintaining the Market Operating Prices. Its very very difficult to sell and stock Viewsonic Monitors. |

they are talking of sales expansion but what about support / the products get out dated within short time and you have to forget support for old sell even after 1 year - that is the reason why u have to look for new dealers and god save the 2 tier cities as there is no support in metros |
