Viewsonic Opens New Service Centers in India

Viewsonic, a provider of visual display products, has announced the opening of 26 new service locations across all major cities in India.
Commenting on the occasion, Gautam Ghosh, country manager of Viewsonic Technologies, India, said, "We are excited with the channel and customer response ViewSonic has received in 2007. This initiative is in alignment with our plans to provide quality offerings and a strong service support backup in India. It will definitely strengthen our existing after sales service structure and brighten our sales prospects."
He further added that the company is focusing to extend its dealer network base to tier II and tier III cities by the end of 2008.
Of late, Viewsonic has launched its high end feature rich Projectors for the Indian market. ViewSonic products are sold in India through a dedicated channel network of 3 distributors Redington India, Compuage Infocom and Roop Technology.
The initiative is a part of the company's strategy to strengthen existing after-sales service infrastructure and offer quality service support across India.
